Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-04-18

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of AuthenAI Revise (the “Service”), operated by Doublemind LLC (the “Company”). By registering for, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please stop using the Service.

1. Service Description

AuthenAI Revise is an online writing and revision assistant that uses artificial intelligence to help users review, rewrite, and improve paragraphs of academic work. The Company may add, modify, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and will provide reasonable notice for material changes through in-product announcements or email. AI-generated suggestions are provided for reference only; you remain responsible for the final academic quality and integrity of your work.

2. Account and Eligibility

You must be at least thirteen years old to use the Service, and minors must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian where required by local law. You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must notify the Company promptly of any unauthorized access. The Company may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

3. Subscription and Refund

Certain features of the Service are offered on a subscription basis, with pricing and billing cycles disclosed at checkout. You may cancel future billing at any time through the Customer Portal under your account settings; cancellation stops renewal but leaves access active until the end of the current paid period. You may request a no-questions-asked refund within seven days of your first subscription payment, provided you have not materially consumed AI revision credits. Local consumer protection laws may grant additional rights, which these Terms do not limit.

4. Acceptable Use — No Academic Dishonesty

The Service is intended to help you learn and improve your own writing. You agree not to use the Service to engage in academic dishonesty of any kind, including using AI-rewritten text to deceive an academic institution, journal, or reviewer, or to ghostwrite work that will be submitted as another person's. You are responsible for following your institution's rules on originality, citation, and AI disclosure. The Company disclaims any responsibility for the consequences of misuse in violation of academic integrity standards.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the text and files you submit to the Service, and the Company claims no ownership of your content. You grant the Company a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely as needed to operate the Service for you. The Company will not use your submitted content to train artificial intelligence models and will not sell or license your content to third parties for commercial use. All other elements of the Service, including software, interface, trademarks, and documentation, remain the property of the Company or its licensors.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or statements that conflict with facts, and you are expected to verify any output before relying on it. The Company is not liable for interruptions caused by maintenance, third-party outages, or events beyond its reasonable control.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company and its affiliates, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service. The Company's aggregate liability under these Terms will not exceed the total fees you paid to the Company for the Service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
